Specialized care for every need

From pregnancy to musculoskeletal health, we're here with the expertise and compassion you deserve.

At Affetto, you are seen by a radiologist who is physically present at the clinic, not remotely. While most clinics rely on teleradiology, our radiologist is here, at the time of your appointment. This means real-time clinical assessment, immediate answers to your questions, and the peace of mind of having a specialist by your side. Whether you are expecting a baby, dealing with an injury, or seeking diagnostic clarity, we are here to help.

Our Services

General Diagnostic Ultrasound (Including Oncological)

Ultrasound of different body regions, according to your complaint and clinical indication. The scan can help investigate pain, nodules, and other abnormalities. When indicated, it can also be part of oncological follow-up, assisting in the evaluation of affected organs and lymph nodes.

Vascular Studies (Including Carotids)

Evaluate veins and arteries with Doppler ultrasound, which measures blood flow in real time. The scan is indicated to investigate thrombosis, varicose veins, obstructions, venous insufficiency, and other circulatory disorders. It also allows for the evaluation of neck arteries (carotid arteries), helping to identify plaques, narrowings, and changes in blood flow related to the risk of stroke and vascular diseases.

Abdominal and Pelvic Ultrasound

A safe and detailed assessment of the abdominal and pelvic organs, such as the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, bladder, uterus, and ovaries, is performed. This scan helps to clarify the cause of symptoms such as pain and discomfort, as well as investigate findings such as stones, cysts, and other abnormalities.

€250

Pediatric Ultrasound

Evaluation of children and adolescents using appropriate techniques and approaches to analyze different organs and structures comfortably and safely. Because it is a fast, non-invasive, and radiation-free method, pediatric ultrasound is a practical option for investigating symptoms and monitoring findings.

€170

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

Assess muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints. Musculoskeletal ultrasound is useful for investigating pain, sports injuries, and inflammation, as well as helping to identify conditions such as bursitis, tendinitis, and other causes of discomfort or limited movement. In some cases, ultrasound can be used to diagnose fractures, especially in children.

Quick questions like:

When will I receive my results?

Your report is sent to your referring doctor within 3 working days. If your scan is self-referred, you will receive your report directly. We communicate urgent findings to you and your referring clinician the same day.

Most ultrasound scans take 20–30 minutes. Detailed scans, such as obstetric anomaly scans or full abdominal studies, may take longer.

A referral is not required for pregnancy ultrasound scans. For all other ultrasound scans, including general diagnostic scans, a referral letter from your GP or consultant is required.
