Specialized care for every need

From pregnancy to musculoskeletal health, we're here with the expertise and compassion you deserve.

At Affetto, you are seen by a radiologist who is physically present at the clinic, not remotely. While most clinics rely on teleradiology, our radiologist is here, at the time of your appointment. This means real-time clinical assessment, immediate answers to your questions, and the peace of mind of having a specialist by your side. Whether you are expecting a baby, dealing with an injury, or seeking diagnostic clarity, we are here to help.

Our Services

Anatomy Scan (18-22 Weeks)

You have a full ultrasound halfway through your pregnancy. The focus here is to observe the structures and organs (head, spine, heart, internal organs, and limbs) and check if development is as expected, as well as checking the placenta and amniotic fluid.

€210

Gender Scan (18-40 Weeks)

If you want to know the baby's sex, this exam is done from 18 weeks onwards, when the visualization is usually more reliable. Even so, confirmation may depend on the baby's position and is not always possible in all cases.

€150

3d/4d Pregnancy Scan (16-34 Weeks)

You undergo a 3D/4D ultrasound to see your baby with more detailed, real-time images, and you can take home photos and videos of this moment. Image quality varies depending on the baby's position, the amount of amniotic fluid, and gestational age. This exam is intended to create memories and does not replace routine medical ultrasounds.

Gender Scan (18-40 Weeks)

If you want to know the baby’s sex, this examination is performed from 18 weeks, when visualization is usually more reliable. However, confirmation may depend on the baby’s position and is not always possible in every case.

Growth Scan (14-40 Weeks)

You have a follow-up ultrasound to see how the baby is growing over time. The focus is on estimating weight and growth, comparing with previous exams, and evaluating the baby's position, placenta, and amniotic fluid.

€150

Early Pregnancy Scan (6-15 Weeks)

Confirm the pregnancy and check if it is progressing as expected, assessing viability (including heartbeat) and whether it is a single or multiple pregnancy.

Quick questions like:

When will I receive my results?

Your report is sent to your referring doctor within 3 working days. If your scan is self-referred, you will receive your report directly. We communicate urgent findings to you and your referring clinician the same day.

Most ultrasound scans take 20–30 minutes. Detailed scans, such as obstetric anomaly scans or full abdominal studies, may take longer.

A referral is not required for pregnancy ultrasound scans. For all other ultrasound scans, including general diagnostic scans, a referral letter from your GP or consultant is required.
